Contracting

Contracting seemed like the obvious next step after serving our customers as their handyman because contractors are the people that get the job done. Like handymen, passing the buck is not an option for contractors. Contractors take responsibility for the entire job whether they complete the work in house or through a subcontractor. For a client with a project to do they are the one place to go to when you have a question or want to make a change.

We use our contracts for large jobs and hold them to the same high standards that have served us so well throughout being handymen. These larger jobs do require special attention though. The first thing that we do differently is that we assign a project manager to every contracted job. These experienced individuals are responsible for seeing your job through from beginning to end. They are our customers one point of contact to represent Allpro for their project. The project manager organizes the moving parts of your job including supervising other handymen and independent contractors as they carry out smaller parts of your project. They communicate directly with you and are instructed to do anything possible, within the contract, to make your project exceed your expectations.

The second thing that we do to make our contracted jobs a success is to assign them a contract. This contracts sole purpose is to communicate effectively. From my experience working in construction I know that bad communication is a major source of strife between many of my competitors and their customers. Contracts are where the details about customer expectations, contractor expectations, and job site information are communicated best. It is a document that is used between all involved parties including subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to be sure every necessary detail is public knowledge. It is a big part of ensuring that we understand what it is that you want and then deliver it to you, flawlessly.
